Building Safety Levy is unfair and punitive, say house builders

The Home Builders Federation (HBF) has written to the Chancellor of the Exchequer asking for the proposed Building Safety Levy to be ‘reconsidered’, and for product manufacturers, who were heavily criticised by the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Phase 2 report, to be forced to make a bigger contribution.
