Call to embed net zero targets in contracts

Committing to carbon reduction targets could soon become a requirement for firms bidding for infrastructure contracts under a series of proposals put forward by the Construction Leadership Council to help the sector work towards net zero. One lawyer urged greater government intervention to drive sector decarbonisation.
