Carillion-built drain blamed for Stonehaven train derailment

Problems with the construction of a railway drainage system by collapsed contractor Carillion which left it unable to handle heavy rainfall have been identified as a primary cause of the fatal train derailment at Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire in August 2020.
