Environmental reforms to break planning system gridlock

The Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs says environmental planing reforms will ‘rewire Britain's broken planning and development system’ as the government moves to accelerate infrastructure delivery and homebuilding while safeguarding the environment. Major projects are to have one lead environmental body in charge of its planning and monitoring its progress.
