Government knew of ACM dangers 16 years pre-Grenfell, inquiry hears

Government failed to warn the construction industry about the risks of cladding tall residential buildings with aluminium composite material despite a “catastrophic” fire test 16 years before the it contributed to the rapid spread of fire at Grenfell Tower.
