Grenfell risk assessments did not consider external walls

Grenfell Tower’s external walls should have been included in fire risk assessments carried out ahead of the fatal blaze at the residential block, an expert witness has told the Inquiry into the incident. The walls carried combustible cladding that contributed to the rapid spread of fire in June 2017.
