Health and safety fines double in construction sector

Construction ranks as the UK’s most costly sector for health and safety offences, racking up a total bill of almost £14M throughout 2016 according to research by law firm BLM. This represents more than double the figure for 2015 when health and safety fines amounted to £6.6M.
