Insolvency protection measures extended

Temporary legislative measures introduced to help protect businesses from insolvency due to the Covid-19 crisis, which include restricting statutory demands and winding up petitions, have been extended. The move will come as a relief for firms impacted by coronavirus but may result in a further upturn in disputes, one lawyer warns.
