Judge rejects part 8 CPR application on grounds of case complexity

Berkeley Homes has had an attempt to have a dispute with contractor John Sisk & Son (Sisk) heard under part 8 of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) rejected because of the complexity of the case. Part 8 proceedings are reserved for cases that are regarded as relatively straightforward, while more complicated cases should proceed under a part 7 procedure.
