Drainage specialist Lanes Group has been fined £500,00 after an employee suffered a fall from a ladder while cutting back vegetation at a viaduct on the London Underground’s Northern Line.

Construction deaths hit record low

Fatal injuries to construction workers fell to a record low in 2018-19 according to provisional annual figures released this week by the Health and Safety Executive.
