Planning Inspectorate report claims success in reducing backlog

The Planning Inspectorate annual report for the year to March 2025 claims considerable success in hitting targets for improvement in the length of time taken over planning applications and appeals in the past year. A significant increase in projects requiring decisions is expected over the next two years.
