The G7 and Net Zero

At their recent summit, the leaders of the G7 committed to halving their countries’ greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 (compared with 2010 levels). Experts consider this a necessary step on the way to avoiding dangerous climate change by reaching “net zero” emissions by 2050.
