Focus on adjudication

Part 8 of the Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act 2009 (LDEDCA 2009) is set to amend Pt II of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996 (HGCRA 1996). The LDEDCA 2009 received Royal Assent on 12 November 2009, but Pt 8, which affects construction contracts, has not yet come into force.
