New guidance on future proofing amendments to contracts in light of Covid-19 has been published by the Construction Leadership Council this week, and includes draft amendments to the JCT Design & Build Contract 2016 and the NEC 3 and 4 Engineering & Construction Contract to cater for the impacts of the pandemic on the delivery of projects.

Appeal launched in HS2 tunnels case

A legal challenge objecting to High Speed 2’s ‘Three Tunnels’ design for London Euston on safety grounds has been submitted to the Court of Appeal after the High Court dismissed the case in June.

Fire consultant overlooked Grenfell cladding emails
