Northumbrian Water is challenging suppliers, especially design and construct companies, to contribute to shaping a “step change” in delivering work under its £4.5 Billion asset management period 8 (AMP8) capital investment programme.

Build UK names contract terms to be shunned

Industry representative group Build UK has identified six contract terms that it advises members not to agree to being used on their projects. The advice is non binding, as it has to be under competition law, and Build UK stresses its members are free to negotiate whatever contract terms they like.
